What happens during Confirmation?

What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is a ritual by having baptized individuals “confirm” that they are members of the Church.  This is also the time when people receive the body of Christ during Mass.

What happens During Confirmation?

During confirmation, the person being confirmed has to face the Priest or Bishop and confess all their sins. The Priest/Bishop gives you the name of prayers you need to pray, and they send you back at the Church to pray them.

Where do they hold it?

The confirmation itself takes place in a room between the person and the Priest/Bishop only.  After this ritual, it is followed by a mass.  The newly confirmed person will receive their first holy communion.
